We sat down with Dr. Alan J Ryan from West End Chiropractic to discuss how being on the PracticeHub start-up scheme has benefited his business from the get-go.
Can you give a brief description of your practice?
I'm working as a solo chiropractor with one CA in Glasgow, Scotland.
What were you initially looking for in your practice management software?
I was initially planning a fairly simple clinic and wanted software that would keep life as simple as possible without being simplistic.
What made PracticeHub stand out over others that you researched?
I had previous experience with it and it came recommended from several colleagues.
How did you find the process of learning your way around the platform and settings (and how have our team helped with that)?
Between the training modules and the FB group everything was straightforward, my CA especially appreciated the help from the FB community side of things.
Have your clients/patients found PracticeHub to be helpful to them?
The email/SMS reminders are a godsend and the structure for getting new patients on board helps us seem very professional before patients have even been in the building.
In the beginning, your 12 month goal was to see 180 patients a month, which you achieved! How did PracticeHub impact your success?
The ease of booking people in, writing notes, patient flow within the building, follow up and recalling have really helped with retention in the early days of the new business. It would not have been possible without this practice management software.

I would not hesitate to recommend PracticeHub to a colleague, once the initial setup is complete - this software makes the day to day running of a small practice effortless, it feels like it has been made by people who really care about how it functions and about chiropractic in general.
