As mentioned in our roundup of the year, we’ve been undergoing some significant changes in our business over the past 24 months.
With the introduction of Spark into PracticeHub over this time, we have been able to further refine the vision of our business, service and product that are inline with

A large proportion of the work we have been doing has been in preparation for the coming year, in which we are launching the most ambitious & audacious project of our company’s lifetime.
This will bring huge improvements to our product, modernize our framework and solidify PracticeHub as the first platform of choice to power your chiropractic clinic and business.

Every day, we talk with chiropractic business owners, chiropractors, CAs and patients and have a clear understanding of their pain points, challenges and needs.
Today, I’m ecstatic to publicly announce the launch of Bedrock, a manifesto of our long term product strategy that focuses on three key needs for our users.

Automation (Workflows, Connected Apps, APIs, Self Serve & AI)
Connecting the apps and services you use together and APIs are no longer nice to haves, but critical for the digital success of your practice. If you’re not using our public API to build your own systems and workflows or connecting up to our array of third party integrations you are missing out on an opportunity to automate and systemise a lot of your clinic processes, and ultimately free up your time, drive revenue and lower costs.
It’s likely AI has transformed your day to day already. It has ours. Whatever your philosophical opinion on AI, it has clear benefits around efficiency. For us, it enables us to ship product changes quicker and provide better customer service (with Kitt). We will continue to invest in AI, throughout our platform and bring these benefits to you.

The wheels of Bedrock are in motion already. Here is a taster of what you can expect in 2025 and beyond.
- With ambitious plans, come need for more people - we’ll be adding to our team further in Customer Success, Engineering and Product to support the goals we have set out.
- An overhaul in our user interface, experience and design as we update to a newer, modernised framework. This will be a gradual process that once completed, will allow us to develop our product even quicker, to bring you the features and improvements you need at speed. You’ll have access to modern standards of dark mode, mobile UI/access, faster page loads, reduction in bugs and an overall better and smoother PracticeHub experience.
- An overhaul of existing features such as Billing, Recalls and Reports
- Public release of Online Bookings 2.0 (launching in January)
- Some new products and features that are focused on automation to bring you more referrals, increase patient retention and empower you to seamlessly see higher volumes.
- Further improvements to the mobile app to support the key pillars of Bedrock
- Improving integrations with third party call handling services, so they can support your patients faster and easier including a deep integration with Balance VA
- Vastly improved API documentation and guides & addition of more data endpoints to open the API up to more developers
- More third party integrations, both created by us and also third party developers on top of the ones we have now
- We deploy improvements to PracticeHub multiple times a day, but where we’ve stumbled in the past, is communicating this info to our users. We’re overhauling how we handle product improvement communication via our Changelog. This will be kept up to date with a weekly roundup of changes, plus larger individual changes on their own.
- Updates to our infrastructure & platform to ensure your compliance with increasing regional and global regulation. Examples include Verifactu & TicketBAI for our Spanish customers due for implementation mid 2025 and the upcoming EU Health Data Directive that’s due to come into force over the next couple of years.
- Self service data imports
